The main osCommerce login screen in your Control Panel will allow you to configure some basic settings, and give you the link to login to the main osCommerce menu.
Click on the "Login" button to enter the main osCommerce menu.
1. Configuration
Allows you to set currency type, log different activities throughout osCommerce, and lets you setup cache directories. This feature also sets your store name, email addresses, and how products are sorted.
2. Reports
These reports will show you customer orders, which products were most viewed, which products were purchased the most, etc.
3. Customers
This lets you keep a customer database containing important client information and order tracking.
4.Catalog
This lets you determine what items will be listed in your catalog and how you will categorize them, as well as keeps track of the manufacturers of all items you are selling
5. Modules
Modules will allow you to choose what methods of payments you will be accepting, as well as what types of shipping charges will be applied to certain product purchases.
6. Locations/Taxes
This will let you set up the list of countries where your product can be sold, and will keep track of local taxes in any area where your products are sold!
7. Localization
Allows you to choose which currencies you can accept, as well as set different exchange rates throughout the world. Localization will also let you select what languages your storefront will be available in.
8. Tools
This feature will let you manage and backup osCommerce databases, place banners on your storefront website, and allow you to manage all files associated with your online store.

To setup OSCommerce, click on Upgrade button within your control panel, and add the osCommerce shopping cart package. You will have to use an SSL secure certificate with this program. If you don't have one, you can use our shared certificate for free. Just go to the HelpDesk and ask to have that added to your account. If you don't want to use our shared certificate, you will need to purchase your own. You can start that process by clicking the GeoCert icon in your control panel.
Note To AlaCart users:
The osCommerce cart does not intergrate with AlaCart. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Support at the HelpDesk.
Note To Resellers
You will be able to resell this cart at the normal 1.00 discount off our normal packages. Please see the Helpdesk located at support.christianwebhost.com to add this package to your resold accounts.
